The letters I, O, P, Q & Z will not be used.

All cattle must be tattooed properly before submitting the registration application. The tattoo should include the original owner’s herd letters (approved by AHCA), unique number and year the calf was born (number of the year or letter equivalent assigned by AHCA). AHCA suggests placing the whole tattoo in the left ear. Refer to the Rules & Regulations Section VI. Marking (subtab of this section).
